It can be difficult for a young person arriving in Geneva to integrate into the local way of life and customs.
Boards and outdoor sports are excellent social tools. They also allow to transmit positive values of life. We have decided to make an active use of them.

OUR MISSION

Boards and outdoor sports are excellent social tools. They also allow to transmit positive values of life. We have decided to make an active use of them.
Through board and outdoor sports, we promote a healthy lifestyle of encounters, sports activities and self-development. We also hope to strengthen the social fabric of Geneva, limiting communitarianism and discrimination.
Our Story
Rookie Slash was born within the Association Lémanique de Ski et Snowboard Freestyle (ALSF) in the winter of 2021-2022. The initial project allowed 10 young refugees to learn skateboarding, trampoline and ski/snowboarding, while being introduced to the local freestyle community.
Due to the success of the winter program, coaches and organizers have decided to establish the Rookie Slash Association in March 2022 to expand and continue the initiative.
Since then, we have been giving weekly lessons in board sports and outdoors... at no cost to the youth!

Depuis, nous donnons des cours hebdomadaire de sports de glisses et outdoor… et cela sans aucun coût pour les jeunes!
